Alex Reiter born and raised in New York began his career working in post-production on independent feature films and major releases for Sony, Disney and New Line. He then moved into television editorial, editing for various networks including, The Learning Channel, Sundance, MTV, Discovery, Fox, & Paramount Pictures.
Editing was a very valuable way to learn the process of filmmaking but only part of the equation. Pursuing his passion for documentary story-telling Alex got involved with Current.TV, producing, shooting and editing short format documentaries on social and political issues. This later led to producing and shooting a lifestyle show for KNBC and developing his own network of clients where he continues to combine his production and post-production skills in both documentary, narrative and commercial work.
